Gluten Free Chickpea Waffle
Never make a compromise when it comes to eating breakfast food. If wheat causes you to doubt taking another bite, it’s probably time to cast all fear aside and dive into a gluten free waffle made with Steamed Chickpea Flour. Serve it hot with a couple slices of butter, smother it in real maple syrup, and you won’t be able to stop at one.
Ingredients
- 130.0 g Steamed Chickpea Flour (CP100-S)
- 45.0 g Brown Rice Flour
- 10.0 g Oat Flour
- 2.0 g Salt
- 42.0 g Sugar
- 7.0 g Baking Powder
- 110.0 g Eggs
- 200.0 g Water
- 5.0 g Vanilla
- 66.0 g Butter
Instructions
- Whisk together dry ingredients.
- Whisk together eggs, water, oil/butter and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients and mix until well blended.
- Process in heated waffle iron.
- For a lighter waffle, separate eggs and follow below:
- In a bowl whisk together egg yolks, water, butter and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients and mix until blended.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites until they hold soft peaks.
- Fold egg whites into batter.
- Process in heated waffle iron.
